O my dear internets, what can I say. It was magnificent to see our Baby Girl achieve all that she has. I know some of y’all are thinking well it’s was only a high school diploma, but trust me when I say it was all a uphill, no a up mountain battle. We are just so glad she was able to do this. Okay that’s all I can type…we are tired as it has been a long night, day, and years even.
Now be careful on this long Memorial Holiday Weekend, get out there and be with your families and friends
AND
be mindful to NOT drink and drive cars or boats –––– the life you save could be mine, so thank you for that.

High-Jack
Y’all know two of my dear internets Deanna and Jai right? Well if not you should. Okay so on of Deanna’s post, a while back, Jai left a comment that basically said the perfect scenario would be … to be reading a really good book, in a bubble bath (I added bubbles) and eating chocolate cake. Deanna went on to say “Why don’t we just deem February that month.
And now unbeknownst to them I’m announcing that February, the love month is also the month when all readers should take a bath while eating chocolate cake and reading a book. I think it should be a book of poems, love poems and that you should read them to your lover who may or may not be with you in the bubbles.
A sea of bubbles and chocolate cake crumbs and wet skin and well y’all get the idea. Yeah I know you can picture that…
Now I want you all to go take a bath, at least once this month, eat some chocolate cake and read a book, or at least one love poem this month. Take a photo of yourself while doing it and post it on your blog. Oh, you can do it, don’t be scared; if I can YOU can
And be sure to stop by both Deanna’s and Jai’s to tell them thank you…Thank You for the great month I’m having.

this particular book (the intention experiment) is not poetry, it’s a smart mental book…lalala

Oh and while we’re at it here’s some keywords: how about bathing beauty (term used very loosely) in Naked bubbles eating a Hostess Chocolate dingdong reading while naked. There that should do it. Oh and YES I can be daring when you can't really see me...Live that is

Surprise!
Post! So over at One Stop Poetry they have a Sunday challenge photo (55 word poem or flash fiction) and today I wrote my first poem of twenty-eleven. Thanks to KJ Halliday for the photo. Pop over to One Stop Poetry to have a look at the photo and check to see if I have conveyed it well in words or not.

Hiding what lies
Within it I am discovered
So many strange faces
Erased by the forgotten

Barking Birds
I watered the veggies, which amazingly enough are not dead—YET. I am still writing a poem a day using the prompt over at Poetic Asides for the April Poem a Day challenge in honor of National Poetry Month. Are you playing? Have you written any poems this month? Hey no need to get snotty, a simple yes or no answer will suffice. Okay so what else did I do today..humm I watched little birdies flitter about the back yard and squirrels barking while they quivered their tails all crazy like and junk.
And then as luck would have it I went off to read some of my dear internets starting off by climbing Jai Joshi’s Tulsi Tree - looking for the cake man, then I was off to Wales to see Digital Gran – and some of her work. I just had to go over and check on the Dream Builders – well cause I want it all baby! And that Bee Repartee – is such a card, when she post that is. Then I settled down to read some Chronicles of an Exhausted Mom – very exciting so I had to go hangout some Down River Drivel – to see how the family is a doing before I headed off to check on Writing Through Rose Colored Glasses – hey she could have posted or did she? Speaking of guys, okay so lets speak of 'em, let’s check in on My Name is Not Bob – he always has something to say about something or nother, okay so maybe not cause of NPM. Now get out there and see some of my ususal hangouts. My what's hanging out?
Come and get it my dear internets; this little Super Peeps Club thingy is waiting for ya no strings or springs.

Hey where's my top?
Let’s see what have I been up to today? Was it something fun or not? You my dear internets will have to decide for your selves, after you read this post of course.
AhhChooooo - means I dusted. Not too fun for me, but very funny to someone watching me have sneezing fits. After which I played dress up- Not fun for me, but great for Wals-mart because of the need for clothes that actually fit somewhat half a$$ed instead of just half of it. And wouldn’t you know there was still time in my day to pick up Baby Girl from school and that was fun for her and the drive wasn’t so bad for me now that my car is back home and I can actually shift the gears and go topless. Oh yeah!
Then this afternoon I got on the ol’ computer and visited some of my dear internets, such as: Kind Over Matter - because it does so matter, then I was off to The Sharp Angle – who have interesting ways to look at things. But As I See It Now – always gives me good food for thought as does the Musings of a Writer Chick Living in Paradise – one can never have too much paradise ya know. That is unless you ask Aunt Amelia’s Attic – who is award free but I don’t care as she has to love me anyways (being an aunt & all). One always has time to visit for a little Morning Ramble as it is sure to wake up something. Like Susan’s Snippets photographs and words do. Speaking of words Dorriane Darden is full of ‘em. Please do drop by these dear internets as they are the newest honorees of this award/badge thingy. Pick it up; there are no strings attached.

Today was...
Well my dear internets, you will be glad to know that today I blogged. Okay so I blogged again, well some more then. Not only did I busy myself writing this oh so time consuming post, but I dropped by over at Vanilla Carmel - I have been reading her since almost the beginning of my blog addictivity, very family-friends kinda blogger. For some fine fiction it was Powder Burns & Bullets. I have several writer friends that I read and this is one ‘em. Speaking of writerly blogs when was the last time you popped over A Writer’s Edge, huh? All bloggers could use a bit of going over the edge. And let’s not forget to put a little art into our lives by a visit to Magstich. Then it was off to Deanna's Blog – which is purdy delightful, and in case you may be hungry you can try a little Crusty Beef. Please tell I sent ya :-)
Who washes dishes at your house or do y'all use paper plates or maybe eat out?
Oh, please don't forget to grab your award/badge; thingy-no stringes
So after blogging for a bit, who knows how long really as time just fades away when one is blogging, ya know. I stepped outside for a few minutes to see how the solar meter was running. Oh , so you’re interested too? Okay it was going full sun ahead which makes the electric meter run backwards. I still get a kick outta that. Then I danced around the living room by myself to my Ipod and then I did some laundry and started the dishwasher. I mean come on someone has to wash the dishes and it might as well be the dishwasher. Right?

News about Moi
My dear friend Linda of Left Brain Write poked me the other day and said hey goofball (she really didn’t say it like that) one of your poems made the list in the Top 5 for April 14th in the 2009 Poem A Day Challenge over at Poetic Asides. What? So I ran over there licky split and scrolled and found my name along with the poem title, The Art of Love. I felt sorta grown up, okay not really, more like a little kid on Christmas morning ya know. I mean to have one of my pieces mentioned among the great poetry over there. Well, one could almost say I was speechless, picture if you dare the Cowardly Lion in Oz as he blushes, grabs his tail and mumbles “Ah shucks”
Okay that’s enough about that…on to What did I do today
I planted some cotton seeds, late, but what’s new about that, started various seeds, most likely late on those too. Sweep the floors while wearing my Jen-u-whine Diamond Tiara. And due to all the hard work I had to lie down on the sofa, eat some chocolate bon-bons and fall into a meditative television state. Then after my morning nap I dropped by to visit some dear internets. Well I did make that neat award/button thingy and must be sure it gets to my dear internets like: Elizabeth's Blog - she is such a brilliant British Texan, Jannie Funster - the original bra flinging singer and mom to lil’ Kelly, Abandoned in Pasadena - who does not live in Pasadena, Dirty Footprints Studio-but not in a dirty way {wink}, Ma Vie Folle (My Crazy Life!) - who is truly sometimes crazy but the real question is was she crazy today?
So while you are out and about today please drop by and share a little www love, who knows maybe they will love you back.
and just what do you wear when you are sweeping the floor or do y'all have broom fairies?

What did I do today?
here at the awesome Paradise Valley 2…Hell’s Mountain.
Because I know, or should I say I think, you are curious as to how I’m filing my days now. Okay so what did I do today you may ask or not, but it matters not as I will tell you anyway…
Today I wrote this post, shaved my legs and cooked a pot of beans. Not all at the same time, cause that would just be freaky weird. I may be a crazy a$$ but I’m not freaky weird. Then I rushed over to visit some of my dear internets…Lets see who will get some linky love today?
Left Brain Write, way more than just a pill pushing writer
Teahouse Blossom, she is a busy Big A$$ city working girl
Beyond Words, this lady does some amazing artsey things
Captain Picard’s Journal, is SciFi heaven
Oh and because I think you are Super Peeps I made this here thingy for y’all to grab and put on your blogs. Feel free to share NO hitch, NO strings and above all else NO rules, cause life has too many of those already.
So what did you do today? It’s okay you can tell me, our little secret.
