What did I do today?

here at the awesome Paradise Valley 2…Hell’s Mountain.

Because I know, or should I say I think, you are curious as to how I’m filing my days now. Okay so what did I do today you may ask or not, but it matters not as I will tell you anyway…

Today I wrote this post, shaved my legs and cooked a pot of beans. Not all at the same time, cause that would just be freaky weird. I may be a crazy a$$ but I’m not freaky weird. Then I rushed over to visit some of my dear internets…Lets see who will get some linky love today?

Left Brain Write, way more than just a pill pushing writer

Teahouse Blossom, she is a busy Big A$$ city working girl

Beyond Words, this lady does some amazing artsey things

Captain Picard’s Journal, is SciFi heaven

Oh and because I think you are Super Peeps I made this here thingy for y’all to grab and put on your blogs. Feel free to share NO hitch, NO strings and above all else NO rules, cause life has too many of those already.

So what did you do today? It’s okay you can tell me, our little secret.

Gentle hugs... 'Cause this time [job loss and etc.] must be trying.

Btw, just in case you sometimes wonder... Not everyone in blog land, who is not saying so, not everyone is without their own problems. Ya' know...

Well, between you and me, I did nothing today. I made it look like something but it really wasn't.

I took the kid to school. Blogged. Ate an awesome sandwich for lunch, Swiss on rye with mao, and dill pickles. Didn't matter the bread was 13 days old, it had been in the fridge and was actually pretty darn good.

Wrote 4 or 5 poems. Looking forward to posting those!! Probably will post next Wednesday afternoon , or Thursdsy afternoon, to give my buddy's e-book launch a little extra exposure.

Downloaded a March Of The Penguins photo from the Net and uploaded it to my March Of The Pengiuns poem.

Visited a few blogs and commented. Never enough time to read as many blogs as I like.

Picked up The Child. Had a beer and some meatballs. She had cheezie fries.

Took her to Kung Fu. She did good.

Home again, home again, jiggety jog.

And watching Fox News with The Hubby.

My Snickers with almonds has been in the freezer for 30 minutes. Should be about hard enough now to suit my demanding tastes!!

And you know what?! I'm going to check out each link you posted here, Paigie Dear!!

Today I tried to sleep, getting woken up at least every half hour. It got quiet when it was time to get up (that's normal). Then I did some laundry, got ready for work, made my food to bring, said my prayers, n went to work.
There I got nice n sore moving non-stop until all the food was out of the machines. I took my break during which I have 10 whole minutes to sit down. Then I worked packing n getting shipments together for the delivery trucks to load, along with the crew.
I drove a work buddy home nearby n got home, carrying my stuff upstairs, then unloaded. I cooked some noodles to eat, n a sausage- now here I am.
Next I shower, watch the tube n repeat the cycle a few more days.
At least it didn't snow like yesterday!

Thanks Paige for those kind words. Remember not to do all those together. The result could be very awkward!

so glad your not becoming freaky weird. But glad you have come to your senses and admit your crazy.

Lol

I hope this is a good week for you.

Ah sweetie... thank you. YOU are the sweetest peep of all.

I'm holding you in my thoughts and prayers. So many good friends are unemployed, it rends my heart. You're handling this dang good, girl -- hold strong and steady. Peace, Linda

Hey, thanks for the linky linky!!!

I just read you are unemployed. By choice? Job hunting? I hope all goes well.

Today, I didn't shave my legs, made chili, drank coffee, read some Pablo Neruda, and posted on my blog.

I think I'm going into shock. Wait, what's a blog again?

Hi Paige, thanks so much for sharing my blog link :)
I'm really glad you were able to spread out the activities you undertook, 'cause you're right - doing them all at once would have been freaky weird!! You crack me up.
love your super peeps badge - too cute!!
WIshing you a peaceful day and hopes for movement that brings you closer to the job of your dreams.
prayers and hugs, Karin

The peeps are darling. Congrats to them all. Hang in there, Paige!

Paige, RESPA can suck it as far as I am concerned. I see what they were trying to do but they fell very short and just the process even more confusing.

I am hoping this sale goes smoothly. The other agent is the receiver and it is all ultimately up to him.

I took my kid to the dentist, and bought him lunch, walked the new doggie, sat on the couch and watched The Philadelphia Story when I should have been studying but 2 of the dogs got on either side of me and they were so warm and snuggly and I fell asleep. Oh, and I prayed for a wonderful job for my blogfriend and good health for her husband. :-)
(The word verification is 'redneths' which is, I guess, what rednecks call themselves after having dental work done.....)

That is the most awesome award pic EVER!

Today I spent a few hours scanning old pics into the computer for safe keeping. They were getting old and yellowish, lol

Well I was about to do some writing and some homework but now I'm going to have to go check out Capt. Picard's Journal.

I went and visited with all your links here -- of course I already knew Teahouse Blossom!

And the other 3 -- fun. Even tho one is having a hard go of it from chemo, she is still rising to the top spirit-and-art-wise.
