And in our life’ing room. However Not pictured here is the big giant Body Atlas that sat under a chair. Ewe lala

Your poem is indeed a work of art, Paige. :-)

We have books everywhere you look here too. However, we don't have any chickens or state capital photos in our bathing room. Obviously, we are missing out.

Also, I'd like to hear more about this "turtle incident." It sounds intriguing and is bound to be an interesting story! :D

Aha! Now I have some proof to show the hubby that I'm not the only one in the world to have books piled high in every room of the house. He's not a reader so he doesn't understand, which I don't understand - how could it be that not everyone in the world has books piled sky high?! Senseless!

Lovely poem too. ;)

Hi, Paige. Are you doing the PAD Challenge this year? Last year I didn't post on the blog, but I did participate.

I decided to go back and see who is around this year. I will post at least some of my poems there this year, maybe all.

I would love to see you there as well. I have always enjoyed your poems. If I don't see you posting there, I will try to check in here to see what you have up.

Blessings

I am of the mind that books are a very common thread that runs between almost all of us bloggers! Love, love, love books! Although I really didn't need yet another book, about two weeks ago, a friend of mine posted on Facebook about a new book -just out -containing essays about strong women in the lives of the writers and that this friend also had an essay in the book. Having known her since she was a baby, as well as her siblings and her parents quite well, that was inspiration enough for me to send the money -via the internet -and purchase said book -title is "About Her" -and to recommend said book to everyone I encountered now since reading it too! Ah yes, I do love me some books and could I please add just one more to the stack too? Now that's something I don't really have to worry about -the addition of more books -as it seems this is a genetic thing too because my daughter keeps adding to the pile as well!

I think you've seen some of my books and a guided tour of my live-in library back on the WD Forum...

I hope the prize is not a book or books, though. I have plenty, thanks. Want some?

I kinda have no idea what your giveaway is about but I loves me some giveaways so what the heck.

Oh, and I have Gladys the Goose in my office/library. I sure hope you are not casting aspersions on birds in the house.

And here is my poem (not that you asked for a poem, but you kinda made a big deal out of yours so you know, I thought I'd get in on that action):

I have lots and lots of books in my house, too.
Plus a goose and Precious the Laptop. Really, I do.

I noticed Strange Piece of Paradise book by the Wierd Texas text. Does that have something to do with the name of your blog?
Your books look orderly.

I forgot to comment on that huge book up there. I was wondering, where do you keep it? I mean, it's like an extra wall!
