Almost Time

For what? you may wander, or not? April, yep that’s right the month of April is fast approaching. April brings the Annual Poem a Day Challenge as brought to us by Robert Lee Brewer of Poetics Asides, in conjunction with National Poetry Month, which is April. Yes I plan on playing along once again, why stop now especially since it’s almost April.

I know y’all my dear internets are not All that crazy about poetry, but I do write it, so you must endure some of my drivel from time to time. Oh I know you don’t mind because you love me and I don’t bombard y’all with it overly much.

And moving on…

Some of you know about my Stupid Blog Party from April of last year…well I will be doing it again. I hope y’all are looking forward to it and that you are already working on your Stupid Post. Oh, yes there will be prizes again this year in April. The Party is set for April 15. So get those Stupid stories (real or fiction), pictures or whatever you choose to post in honor of my Stupid Blog Party. Yes you will need to link to my blog, otherwise it wouldn’t be much of a party. I will post a reminder when the date – April 15 – gets closer and remember there will be prizes.

Haha in fact I think during the month of April I will be having surprise Give-a-Ways. Will you be ready to play? Gosh I hope I am.

I'll be taking part in National Poetry Month as well, so I look forward to reading along.

Sometimes poetry can be a bit challenging to read and to understand the writer's message. However, that being said, I still enjoy reading poetry. Used to dabble in it a bit way back when I was in school but my "creative" juices just don't flow in that aspect at all anymore.

I like poetry and attempt to write some every once in a while too. Looking forward to April, Paige. It sounds like fun. :D

WHAT?! Who doesn't like poetry? They oughta be whopped upside the head, (yes, whop is my word of the day, mainly because I've already felt the need to whop the hubby upside the head several times this morning). I look forward to your poems Paige, I love them and am so grateful you share them with us - thank you!

And I have marked my calendar for the stupid blog party, it was so much fun last year and I'm sure it'll be just as much fun this year, or, no, more fun!

FYI - If anyone is interested in incorporating some stupid holidays into their stupid blog post: April 15th is McDonald's Day, and (best yet), That Sucks Day; And April is Holy Humor Month, National Humor Month, Grilled Cheese Month, and Straw Hat Month.

I've actually written a stupid poem, (to either honor or defame National Poetry Month, depending on how you look at it), using all these holidays. I'd love to see others do the same!

Can't wait for the party Paige!

I thought the blog part here last April was pretty fun, even tho I was not an active participant I loved all your poetic offerings.

And that photo is gaaar-jis!!! Happy opening to you.

So I'll need to do another stupid blog post. If only you knew how much material I have for it.
