Neon's bright lights

It's been a long while since I posted a study in color and this time it's not just a color but NEON Lights

Tell me my dear internets that I'm not the only one that likes these bright lights...no really tell me. And I also want to know if you have dreamed of being in the spotlight, under the big lights of broadway or just in a flashlight beam?

I didn't know you were a bright lights girl, Paige! Well, I learn something new every day.

I studied drama at school and loved it. I loved acting and directing and writing the script and performing for an audience. The only thing I didn't like was... Being under the lights. They were hot and blinding and made me feel stuffy. I love to perform but I can do without the lights.

Hi Paige .. some of the blues are too harsh .. the Christmas lights we get are like that - to me = horrid!

Certainly this collection looks colourful and fun ..

Yes I would like to be .. but I need lots of local practise first, and build up to the big deal .. gain the confidence along the way .. see you at the top sometime?

Go well and have a good week .. Hilary

Sometimes fun, sometimes annoying. I don't dream of being in the spotlight (that I remember anyhow, lol). I did dream last night that I was showing someone something and pointing in the distance...and then I poked Shane in the face.

btw, no nothing of sea lice, lol. And don't wanna!

Paige:
No glamour no glory
on stage, do I not want to be
no flashlight or spotlights
No, none of that for me
Yes colours are good
No colours are bad
for the long walk
down the Broadway
It's better to look in
then to look out
for when I'm done
there I don't
have to stay

Paige,
I'm one who does not like neon lights. Vegas looks horrendous to me. As to being in the light I'm again not a fan.

Actually now that I'm answering these questions I can see how some folks might think me rather dull. But I'm not. I'm more your audience member. All those folks who do like to be in the light need us AMs to be there to cheer them on. Yep, I'm a cheerer-on! :)

Sorta like neons--little individual ones like you find in a country bar, advertising beer.

I'd like to see Freemont St. in Las Vegas just once. Otherwise, it's all too much for an agoraphobic.

Be in the spotlight? Been there and done that if cops count, peering in windows of cars parked at the lakefront in Evanston. Or on West Middletown Hill. Ah, the good old days!

I've been in the spotlight on stage a few times acting n singing.
I remember one summer spent in the catwalks of a theater as "Spotlight A" for the rec Dept in a production of "The Music Man".
(Yes, there was a"Spotlight B")

My brother acquired a really old neon sign which still worked, wonder what happened to it when he had to sell all his stuff after splitting with his wife...

I love the pretty lights, but I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of girl. :D

Nice to have unlimited options to see in black and white or psychedelics or whatever resonates. As one remembers to see things as they are, then color is irrelevant. One feels the truth. Amazing how some people hear color or feel it, using alternative senses to physical sight. Many ways of seeing.

I like lights from nature the best. Hard to find a place to really appreciate them.
