I love you ...Honesty?

Love a very controversial concept. It is a concept to be sure…you cannot touch, smell, taste or hear it. You can, however, see it in the eyes of lovers when they look at each other*. You can sense it from the way they always seem to be touching each other even though they are different sides of a room*.

I know love it is impossible to explain to anyone…Love is a thing, that if you have not had it you do not understand and may even believe it does not exist, that soul mate kind of love. This to me is one of the saddest things of being a human…to not believe in love. And if you don’t, believe in love, you will not recognize it not matter how hard it taps you on the heart. It’s like when we first learned what hot was – no one knew hot until after it was experienced.

To not find the one you are meant to love is tragic. Some folks will not find each other, that it is the downfall of humanity to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe it can be only found when we are on our last spiritual journey.

Love is an equality based on honesty of self.

We as human are often duped into believing things…things that we want to be true, things that if we are truly honest with our self we see the doubt but still carry on in spite of it.

People must be honest about what they are wanting and who they are. If you are not honest within yourself how can you expect someone to love you the way you need. How can you love someone you can’t be honest with?

Take for instance online or off line singles places, places that will match you to the “perfect” person**. You get this questionnaire of sorts asking questions with multiple choice answers--they are a type of lie detector, designed to ask the same questions in a variety of ways, your answer should be the same type of answer. If not you must be lying to them or to yourself, that is why folks get “rejected”. If you are just looking for sex or someone that will financially support you will not discover love. And if you kid yourself into thinking they are all one in the same you will be sorely disappointed.

But I guess being truthful is uncouth and makes us feel bad about ourselves. Poor humans will we ever learn?????

*if you are open (your spirit), you believe or have experienced it.

**there is no such person, trust me on this my dear internets.

***and maybe I’m just a crazy a$$ jacking with ya … sorta makes you wonder

Love. Yikes! What a topic. What a can of worms, this topic can open up.

-How many kinds of love, do humans think there are?
-How many kinds of love, are there?
-Can we love another, until we love ourselves?
-Can we truly love another, if we need them... emotionally or in our heads need?
-Can we ever have the love for another, which doesn't put any demands on the other?

What a topic. Like I said... Yikes!

A more deserving recipient of that award I cannot think of. Congrats!

I especially like the honesty part. I LOVE being honest (well, when I'm not pulling somebody's leg - which is just for laffs.) But honesty - I cannot recomend enough. Love = honesty, as we all come from One Great Love which is honesty in its purest form.

Cool!

You're brave taking this topic on. Thanks for the wise words.

I always think of love as unconditional and divine. You can experience it if you are only out for yourself. You have to live for others.

Oops! Typo. I meant to say that you can't experience love if you are only out for yourself.

Well what’s a blog for anyway if not to stir the pot from time to time?

I suppose it is one of those taboo topics, both love and honesty are scary. Everyone has lied and even the evil one seeks love. That is why he is always trying to sway us his way.

Ah, love. . . so nauseating from afar, so excellent when you're inside. I have been married six month this Saturday, and so far it's (I can't believe I'm saying this) like floating on a cloud.

The cloud IS pretty uncomfy sometimes - but I never stop being glad it's there.
