Who's up for some Movie Time

Well have I got a shovel full for y'all...

NO spoilers here.

A few weekends ago we saw Cop Out, corny but funny movie. Not for children or anyone with sensitive ears. They opened up and added to the cuss and discuss foul language dictionary in this one. 4 thumbs up because of mindless entertainment, do it as a matinee y’all.

A couple weeks ago we saw Shutter Island, not an awful movie worth viewing for matinee prices. Leo did a pretty good job of it. The scary parts weren’t so scary I may have jumped once, maybe. The music at the beginning was terrible and I muttered to Beloved that I wish they would just turn it off. Yes, I on occasion talk during the show…I know how horrible that is, but I whisper and keep it to a minimum. {uncomfortable grin} At least I don’t kick the seats, text or rattle paper/plastic packages. Okay so this movie gets 3 thumbs up, we predicted the end in first 30 minutes. Hey we’re good at it. Recommend matinee or DVD viewing.

And this past Sunday afternoon we went to the magical Underland to see Alice in Wonderland*, this gets a 6 thumbs up because I loved it. It was fun to watch in 3D at the Imax and I can’t wait to buy the Blu-Ray. I really enjoyed the Queen of Hearts aka The Red Queen, she was so delightful I hardly disliked her at all. Oh and her d├ęcor at the castle is a must see. The graphics were great, running through the woods very exciting, and the ending, well you just have to see it. No really my dear internets, y’all have to SEE IT on the big screen first!
Who knows maybe some young readers will be provoked into reading the classic story of Alice

Here’s to popcorn in your laps and soda out-chya nose.

*it may take a minute or two for this link, but do wait for it.

Oh and BTW::::::: FTC Disclaimer: I recieved no compensation for my opinions here other than the laughter in my head, the ringing in my ears and the Eat Me jokes. ; ^ p

Daughter and Granddaughter saw "Alice" too, liked it.

Wow it's been so long since I've gone to a theater........... Might just be time. :-)

But one of my 'Twilight' actors has a film coming out this coming weekend and I want to see that......

If I went to 2 films in the theater in one week, I might explode or something, from the shock. LOL!

I haven't been to a movie in frickin forEVER! lol. I get frustrated with rude people yapping and chomping popcorn too loudly. Plus, I have to get up and walk a mile to pee.

My daughter wanted to see Shutter Island. I'll have to send her over here. :)

Thumbs up on Alice. Good to know. I love the classic Disney version, so will go and see this one. Ain't nothin' like the big screen!

"They opened up and added to the cuss and discuss foul language dictionary in this one." I am still laughing out loud over this statement. I just love the way you express yourself my friend. It is so hilarious to me.

I love reading your blogs. They ALWAYS make me laugh. Forgive me for neglecting to get over here as much as I would like. I have been pulling my hair out lately because some difficult classes I am taking at school. They have drained me to death because they are so time consuming. It is like wading through molasses some days.

If I said anything crazy here over look me. I am not taking the time to edit comments as much as I normally do.

Your blog is super fun!!!! Loved this post! I'm going to see Alice and Wonderland this weekend and I'm hoping I enjoy it as much as you did!

As for the random shovel it looks like the one going out of town heading to Magnolia, Texas -I say this because I always see it heading to the Renaissance Festival- am I correct to assume?
