The wrong what?

Don’t let this shock you but while I was working out the other day in the “health room” this song came on my ipod. Nora Jones, Don’t know why. Anyways it makes me tear up every time I hear it. It is beautifully sad. So tell me, my dear internets, is there a song that makes you cry or tear up every time you hear it?

So did y’all hear that I have decided to continue my photo blog for another 365 Views By Me? What you haven’t, you really haven’t? You can find it in the same place as it was for 2009…oh that would be here. Yes, I’ve told you before it is perfectly acceptable for me to promote myself and my useless endeavors, especially when it gives you all so much joy and delight. Not to mention the possible hits on those keywords could and will bring me.

And one last but not least bit of non-interesting lifely things in my life…my last fortune cookie said…

It failed to mention to use caution as to what one (meaning moi) would deem the right time, when in all actuality it may totally be the wrong time.

So were you crying at work? Like folks saying "Oh- what's wrong?"
There are tunes that get me- tho I'm having trouble tonight coming up with titles (can't think after work!)
Alone again, naturally, Can't live- (if living is with out you-), Wind beneath your Wings, n prob a ton more...

Excellent fortune!

There probably isn't just one song that gets me crying, but the one that always does is Halleleuja. Lots of people have performed this, but the best, (IMHO), is Jon Bon Jovi. Of course it doesn't hurt that he's pretty to look at, no matter what he's singing. :)

So funny, you mention that song by Nora Jones. When I was taking singing lessons and performance classes my teacher had me sing that song many times, because she said it was very much in my style and range. And she was right! It did help me learn a lot.

I was actually still learning to sing when I recorded I Need A Man -- but I think I know how now. Seriously!

Me?? Totally that "Over The Rainbow" by Iz. My God, it tears me up, and not even so much that he is dead now, just something otherworldly about how he sings it.

Ha, cool fortune Paige. You must have laughed.

As far as a song choking me up, it would have to be Alan Jacksons, Remember When. It doesn't matter where I'm at, when I hear that song, I cry. It takes me right back to those days with babies and bills. Wait, we still have bills, just not the babies!

I wish I had a picture of it, but this is the EXACT same fortune I got from my cookie like 6 months ago, LOL!

How weird is that?

There are a couple of songs that bring me to tears, but others do too on occasion depending on my mood.

Oh yes the fortune cookie fortunes. I've gotten some dooozies that are right on the mark and often thought of posting them, but I lose the darn things in my pockets.

I love your photo blog and I'm glad you are going to continue it.

If a song makes me cry, I turn it off.

It is always good to be funny at the "right" times. And you MUST be cause your fortune says so.

ARe you going to put some of your 365 views into an art journal? Do you have a jam packed journal your hiding? is it none of my bees-wax?
