It took a week, but we got in to see the dermatologist. I felt so bad for Baby Girl on accounta she is so very, extremely modest and dermatologist look at you ALL over. Bless her heart. I getting there…
So Doctor wanted a biopsy, as I suspected she would. She was gonna do a slice of it and then went out the room, Baby Girl plied me question after question, I was calm and made light of the situation. She has hypochondriac genes, ya know IF she hears she may have blah blah symptoms she WILL. I did not lie, don’t do that to my kids and I got lucky she only asked about the procedure and not the what it means stuff. Okay so Baby Girl is familiar with biopsies she just didn’t make the connection.
Doctor comes back in the room, appears she had a change of heart and decided to do a core punch. Meaning she would take the whole mole. Okay that’s good then we don’t have to worry about keeping an eye on it and we could just get on with whatever was to come of it.
Baby Girl did very well with the procedure and was proud of herself and this - her first ever surgery and first every stitches. It didn’t hurt.
And now the results, ha your waiting was nothing like mine; think chest pains and if possible I got tons more gray hair. Normal. Did you hear that? The results are it was a normal ugly mole. Just keep an eye on the one on her upper outside thigh.

Brave girl. I don't know what I would be thinking...my hair prolly would have started falling out as soon as someone said biopsy.
I am so glad to hear everything is good.
Waiting in cases like that is the worst thing. Good to hear it was happy news all around.
OMG Paige, I would have been besides myself with worry. Thank God it all turned out alright. And I agree with the others, baby girl is very brave.
SO happy all is well with both your luvvies.
Whew! Thank God everything is okay. Your baby girl sounds like a brave soul.
You're so right - prayer and positive thoughts do work wonders. Hugs and much love to you all!
Always best to have these things checked out thoroughly! Glad to hear the results were good though and I'll bet you and your daughter were even happier!!!
HOLY COW! I'm so so so glad that everything went well for her and that you are doing fine also of course! This is a very good post and I'm sure many will get a lot out of it.
Whew, I'm breathing a sigh of relief right with on both counts. So happy that hubby and baby girl are doing great! Celebration time!
We always have choices about how to receive and respond to information we are given. It is always possible to view all news as a blessing in disguise. Its amazing how many people are being diagnosed with cancer. Some people ignore the news or view the unfolding experience as a state in a much deeper healing process. Other people nurture fear and would prefer to escape.
The energetic imbalance detectable in dis-ease offers information for reflection. Some people experience illness as an external reason for suffering. Other people view illness as a symptom of dis-aligned vibration, as something than can be healed and in some sense, already is.
As it happens, my mom recently moved into a hospiltal palliative care ward. One view is her metasticized cancer is a stepping stone to re-emergence into non-physical existence. She does not see through the nature of her own resistence or that surrender can be a very upliftng thing.
Good news all around! That's what I love hearing! I have a disgusting mole on my back that I need to have removed but I just haven't made it there yet and it's been there all my life. After my last surgery I told myself the next one I'd make sure they'd remove it as well! Yuck!
Whew! You had me on edge. Yes, prayer and good thoughts make the world a much better place. And yay for dear hubbers, too! Peace...
So very happy things turned out well. Skin cancer runs in my family.
