Look OUT!

it's almost time for National Poetry Month -- APRIL-- and with it comes the annual Poem A Day challenge over at Poetic Asides with Robert Lee Brewer. Yes I plan on playing along again this year. Are you ready to play? Fear not my dear internets, this is something you can do alone at home in private (no one else need ever know) and those of you that are brave enough can do it on a table in a public place even. Either way the words, all the words are in your hand. Okay so they are really in your head, just let them flow down your arm to your hand and through a writing implement of your choice onto the paper of your choice. See Easy Peasy Beautiful and Poemy. Ah come on my dear internets I know you can it if only you will try. I mean what’s it gonna hurt to try?

And the Writers League of Texas gave me the link to…Poem in your pocket day April 29, find more info and ideas here.

I’m off to bake some virtual cake and yummy edibles See ya soon at my Stupid Blog Party on April 1st; You'd be a fool to miss it

FYI -- Beloved's Dr. was surprised by the newest test results and says NO chemo yet, see ya in 3 months. Thank you dear internets for your prayers and positive thougths. xxxooo

Yay!!! The angels do listen well-

I never schedule poems- they just make me write them sometimes!
Good luck on your challenge!

That's awesome news for your Beloved Paige. Here's praying for the next round of tests in three months.

I've never done the poem a day, but will think about it.
That's some kinda stress! I think I'm hyperventilating!

YAY on all counts. I'll be playing along with NaPoWriMo this year, at least trying (I REALLY need to finish my novel). And I have 90+ poems to edit and send away. Put I'll sketch something out every day. Best news -- the hubbers! Peace, Linda

RE: Stupid blog party. I feel like all my posts are stupid, but I'll do my best (to remember).

RE: Test results--yay! Also have fingers crossed for that insurance thang.

RE: Poetry. Thanks for the reminder on that, too, because it looks like A Writer's Edge may last until the end of April. I have not written a poem for several years now. Can't ever force them from myself.

Thanks for the info. I've got a writer friend who needs to do this to jump start her creativity. I'll pass it along to her. I might try ScriptFrenzy in April. Gulp. Somebody slap some sense into me.

Nope, I'd never set myself up for a poetry challenge. The ability is not mine. Happy for those, who have the ability though.

Paige, something tells me I met you last year in poetry month?

Wot?

I'll have to check my blog and search for your first comment over there.

Poems. Poets. Poetry. I like all that kind of stuff. And the way you said we could do it on the table. :)

stupid post, April 1st. What's today?? The 30th? What? I need to check my calendar, then check my brain for a stupid idea. then check back with you for chips and cake.. Is it byob??

BB says hi, he can't come to the blog right now-- he's "taeking a baff"

xoxo

YAY! So glad to hear your beloved's test brought great news! You sure needed that I know.

I very rarely do the poetry thing, but I just might try it one day in April. One couldn't hurt. :)

Funny - I stopped by to tell you my stupid blog post is ready and scheduled, and I specifically requested cake from the hostess, and voila! You're way ahead of me. :) Can't wait!
